The University Center Multicultural Alliance at The University of Montana will kick off the 2010 Multicultural Film Series with the showing of “Tsotsi” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, in the UC Theater.
The series, which is free and open to the public, features films that highlight diverse cultural issues sometimes overlooked in everyday society. The films are a great opportunity for students and community members to broaden their perspectives, and the Multicultural Alliance will host a discussion or presentation following several films.
All films in the series will begin at 7 p.m. and take place in the UC Theater. In addition to “Tsotsi,” the series will feature the following films:
- Wednesday, March 10: “The Visitor”
- Wednesday, March 24: “Good Hair”
- Wednesday, April 21: “The Band’s Visit”
- Tuesday, April 27: “Y Tu Mama Tambien”
