Season tickets now are available for the 2010-11 Broadway in Missoula series, which will bring “An Evening with Garrison Keillor,” “The Wizard of Oz” and “Riverdance” from New York to The University of Montana’s Adams Center stage.

Writer and humorist Garrison Keillor will appear in Missoula on Wednesday, Oct. 13. Keillor is best-known for his widely popular radio show “A Prairie Home Companion,” which attracts more than 2 million listeners on more than 450 National Public Radio stations weekly. He is a best-selling author of 12 books, including “Lake Wobegon Days,” “Love Me” and “Homegrown Democrat.”

“The Wizard of Oz” twists its way into Missoula on Tuesday, Dec. 7. The entire family will be captivated as they travel down the Yellow Brick Road and beyond with Dorothy, Toto and their friends the Cowardly Lion, Tin Man and Scarecrow in the lavish production that features breathtaking special effects, dazzling choreography and classic songs.

“Riverdance,” the thunderous celebration of Irish music, song and dance that has tapped its way onto the world stage thrilling millions around the globe, will play one of its “Farewell Performances” at the Adams Center on Wednesday, May 18.

Season tickets now are on sale to the general public. They range from $99 to $140 and include all three shows. Purchasing a “Best of Broadway” subscription package saves subscribers more than 30 percent per seat versus buying individual tickets.
