MISSOULA –
The Student Involvement Network at The University of Montana is bringing the Upright Citizens Brigade to the University Center Theater from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18, to kick off the semester with a fun evening for students. The improv comedy show is free and open to the public.
Featuring an all-female cast, Upright Citizens Brigade’s 90-minute show consists of two halves of the freshest long-form improv the nation has to offer. The TourCo cast is hand-picked from the best improv comedians in New York City and Los Angeles.
According to Jamar Galbreath, program adviser for the UC Student Involvement Network, the performers are the “next wave” of comedy superstars from the theatre that has produced some of the biggest stars in comedy today. From “Saturday Night Live” to “The Office,” the tour includes some of the most talented comedians and some of the funniest writers of the “Colbert Report,” “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” and “MAD TV.” Upright Citizens Brigade alums also have starred on the big screen in films including “Bridesmaids,” “Mean Girls,” “The Hangover” and more.
