The University of Montana will host the Multi-State Educators’ Career Fair, where teaching candidates can network with regional, national and international school districts, on Sunday and Monday, April 21-22.
Teacher candidate registration begins at noon on Sunday, April 21, in the Phyllis J. Washington College of Education and Human Sciences building. Teacher candidates can attend Montana school district information sessions, the Ice Cream Social and Resume Critique sessions until 5 p.m. At 5 p.m. the Welcome & Strategy Session will review what to expect at the career fair, including a mock interview between a school administrator and a teacher candidate.
On Monday, school districts will participate in a traditional career fair setting. Out-of-state school districts will host information sessions in the University Center from 8 to 10 a.m. on Monday, April 22. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. school districts will greet, network with and interview teacher candidates. The fair is open to UM teacher candidates and to the public.
