KBGA College Radio to Hold Annual Radiothon Pledge Drive Feb. 9-15

January 21, 2014

MISSOULA KBGA College Radio 89.9 FM at the University of Montana will host its annual Radiothon pledge drive Sunday through Saturday, Feb. 9-15. The fundraiser aims to keep Missoula’s free-format radio on air.

Last year the station met its $16,000 goal and celebrated at Endofthon, the fundraiser after party at which listeners and donors are acknowledged for their support.

This year, the station’s goal is to raise $20,000 to help fund new projects and programming at the station. Fundraising incentives will feature brand-new KBGA merchandise, premiums from local Missoula businesses and the KBGA staff will take on challenges to entertain and motivate listeners to get involved in the drive.

KBGA will celebrate the week of fundraising with the Endofthon benefit concert, which will take place from 9 p.m.to 2 a.m. Saturday, Feb.15, at the Roxy Theatre in downtown Missoula. The event will occupy all three theaters simultaneously and highlight performances will be delivered by local acts such as Modality, Darshan Pulse and Bat Honey puppeteers.

More information on the pledge drive will be delivered on-air at 89.9 FM.
