Grants Available to Support Diversity

January 28, 2014

MISSOULA – The University of Montana Diversity Advisory Council offers grants of up to $1,000 to support events and activities that promote various diversity causes.

DAC invites students group, faculty and staff to submit proposals for funding consideration. Events must promote and enrich diversity and affect both the campus and Missoula communities. Groups who submit proposals must have sought and received partial funding from other sources. Proposals that demonstrate collaboration among students, faculty and staff are highly encouraged.

Proposals will be reviewed by the UM Diversity Advisory Council (http://www.umt.edu/diversity), and recipients and nonrecipients will be notified as quickly as possible.

Groups may submit proposals online at http://life.umt.edu/diversity/minigrant.php. There is no deadline to apply, but groups are encouraged to apply early to maximize their opportunities for funding.
