MISSOULA – A workshop for campus and community professionals on immigration law and immigrants’ rights in Montana will be held from 3:10 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, in Law Building Room 101. The event is free and open to the public.
Immigration lawyer Shahid Haque-Hausrath will present the workshop. Haque-Hausrath is the president of the Montana Immigrant Justice Alliance and works for Border Crossing Law Firm, P.C.
The workshop will cover the nature and scope of immigration issues in Montana, the work of the MIJA and steps for action and advocacy.
