Interdisciplinary Graduate Student Recruitment Event Set for March 6-8

February 24, 2015

MISSOULA – The third annual interdisciplinary graduate recruitment weekend will be held Friday through Sunday, March 6-8, at the University of Montana.

The event invites graduate applicants to explore six UM graduate programs: chemistry; cellular, molecular and microbial biology; biochemistry and biophysics; neuroscience; biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences; and medicinal chemistry.

Last year’s recruitment event drew in 15 talented applicants from across the country, many of whom joined one of the participating graduate programs. This year’s recruitment event expects to draw in more than 18 nationwide applicants.

The interdisciplinary graduate recruiting events are sponsored by the Center for Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics, the Division of Biological Sciences, the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, the Department of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Office of the Vice President of Research and Creative Scholarship.
