MISSOULA – The Office for Student Success at the University of Montana now offers students a service called Advising on the Go in the Lommasson Center’s Griz Central.
UM students can stop by the new advising counter from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday, to find answers to their questions about academic advising without an appointment. Advising on the Go is located next to the Registration Counter in Griz Central.
Experienced advisers staffing the desk will connect students to campus services, resources, and advisers in academic departments on both the Mountain Campus and Missoula College for more in-depth assistance.
“Students often have relatively straightforward advising-related questions that do not require a scheduled appointment with an academic adviser,” said OSS Executive Director Brian French. “With our new Advising on the Go counter in Griz Central, we are more accessible for students who have these straightforward questions and referral needs.”
