MISSOULA –The University of Montana will host the Multistate Educators’ Career Fair, where teaching candidates, school counselors, speech-language pathologists and school psychologists can network with regional and national school districts, on Sunday and Monday, April 9-10.
Candidate registration begins at noon on Sunday, April 9, in the Phyllis J. Washington Education Center. Teacher candidates can attend Montana school district information sessions and an ice cream social between 1 and 5 p.m. Participants also can attend 15-minute resume critique sessions between 1 and 4:30 p.m. The Welcome and Strategy Session beginning at 5 p.m. will provide information about expectations for the career fair, and will include a mock interview between a school administrator and a teacher candidate.
On Monday, April 10, school districts will participate in the Multistate Educators’ Fair. Out-of-state school districts will host information sessions from 8 to 10 a.m. in the University Center. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. school districts will greet, network with and interview teacher candidates. Admission is free.
