MISSOULA – Award-winning author Monica Drake will deliver a fiction reading at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 3, in Payne Family Native American Center Room 105 at the University of Montana.
Drake is the author of the award-winning novel “Clown Girl,” as well as “The Stud Book.” She recently released “The Folly of Loving Life,” a collection of intertwined short stories. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, Paris Review, Oregon Humanities Magazine, Cutthroat, The Rumpus and other publications. Drake designed, launched and currently directs the undergraduate writing program at the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon.
