Lil Wayne to Play UM’s Adams Center April 24

MISSOULA – Hip hop recording artist Lil Wayne will perform Monday, April 24, at the Adams Center at the University of Montana. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 17, at and at all GrizTix locations, by phone at 888-MONTANA and online at Ticket prices range from $35 to $55, plus fees.

Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., known professionally as Lil Wayne, is an American hip hop recording artist from New Orleans. In 1991, at the age of 9, Lil Wayne joined Cash Money Records as the youngest member of the label.

Lil Wayne has sold over 100 million records worldwide, including more than 15 million albums and 37 million digital tracks in United States, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time. On Sept. 27, 2012, Lil Wayne passed Elvis Presley as the male with the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with 109 songs.
