Top Country Music Artist Chris Stapleton to Play UM’s Adams Center Aug. 3

MISSOULA – Country music star Chris Stapleton will play the Adams Center at the University of Montana on Friday, Aug. 3.

Stapleton’s “All-American Road Show” tour will feature Marty Stuart and Brent Cobb as special guests.

The tour announcement follows a big weekend for Stapleton, who won Best Country Album, Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance during the 60th Grammy Awards on Jan. 28. The night before he appeared as the musical guest on “Saturday Night Live.”

Stapleton’s album “From A Room: Volume 2” was released Dec. 1, 2017, and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country albums chart and No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart. It followed the May 2017 release of “From A Room: Volume 1,” which was the No. 1 bestselling country album of 2017. Stapleton’s 2015 double-platinum solo debut, “Traveller,” was the No. 2 bestselling country album of 2017.
